o que será um psicanalista?
Keywords:
Unconscious, psychoanalysis, psychoanalystAbstract
What will be a psychoanalyst? The answer depends on a definition of the psychoanalysis statute. It is important to let the question open. On the one hand, in order to remind the impact of the unconscious to those who experience it. On the other hand, because of the extreme newness of this discipline, which makes it difficult to be defined in its ultimate statute. The most common attempts to classify it, which are explicitly or implicitly present in the literature and in the mentality of the psychoanalysts (science, trade, art, religion), are not sufficient to fully comprehend the uniqueness of such a discipline. One could suggest a different perspective, related to Ethics. Some of its advantages are: it is more consistent with the clinical practice and it is open to the enlargement of analytical intervention, which goes beyond the limits imposed by the model of a liberal exercise of the profession, pointing to the direction of a better insertion of the analytical practice in the social and cultural contemporary dilemma.
